Last week the young generation at OMT was up for the pipe welding 6G certification using stainless steel 316 according ASME IX.
They have done an outstanding job and we can’t wait to receive positive news about their approved certificates.
We are happy that we can support them with their education as they will be the next generation in keeping this craftsmanship alive.

Another beautiful result from Corné Hollemans. Here he is welding a part of one of three Super Duplex filter vessels which will be later installed on an FPSO.
These vessels have been designed according ASME VIII Div.1 including U-stamp. Next to this they will also comply to a country specific code for the waters where this FPSO will opperate.

1: 1 Qualified Tandem axle bodies
We use the following materials for the production of the FAN axle bodies:
- S355J2
- S420MC
- 25CrMo4.
The welding of the axle bodies is performed by advanced welding robots. This is extremely suitable for serial production and fast, consistent and efficient welding. All shaft welds are 1: 1 qualified and are tested by an independent inspection party on the basis of a product certification. In order to guarantee quality, our own quality department has also drawn up a (welding) quality plan.
Our customers place high demands on our quality system. To meet these requirements, we have all the necessary quality standards. We are IS 9001 certified. We are also familiar with CP (Control Plans), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). Our welders and operators are ASME IX and ISO 9606 certified and our welding procedures meet the EN 15614 standard.
As a supplier of automotive parts we are always looking for improvements in the design and manufacturing process which will improve the assembly and reduces costs.

My name is Jeffrey den Outer, 33 years of age and living in Rotterdam together with my girlfriend. In my spare time you will find me in the mountains, on my mountain bike or at the local CrossFit box. I also like traveling and exploring new places.
On the 17th of August I started in my new role as Sales Manager. As a new addition to the team, I will help them with the further development and growth of this beautiful company.
My primary role as Sales Manager will be to enthuse new customers for the services that we provide. My focus will be the support of our new clients with the manufacturing and supply of small to medium sized series of parts/constructions which will be manufactured by our welding robots.
All current relations with our employees considering sales will stay in effect.
I gained my knowledge and experience in international sales at Stork Gears & Services. Due to this international role I was able to work with different types of customers and cultures. In addition to this I’ve learned a great deal about the maritime and industrial sectors. Following on this period I’ve made a small side step as business developer for a predictive maintenance solution.
I can only say that I’m looking forward to this new challenge and to helping our client keeping their businesses running using our high quality welded constructions and assembled products.
